More I/O's for IRC5 Compact?

Hello,
I have an IRC5 Compact (newest edition), and it came with 1 DSQC 652 I/O module. I am wanting to add additional modules, does anyone know how many (if any) can be added in addition to the 16 I/O I have now? In regards to that, is there a limit for I/O's that the Compact Controller can handle?
Thanks,
SM

Should be able to add additional units to the DeviceNet bus. How much I/O are we talking -- 10s, 100s, 1000s?

Probably another 16 Inputs and 16 Outputs. Any information on how to go about doing this?
Thanks,
SM

Easiest, but not cheapest, way would be to order another DSQC 652 from ABB. Since you have all the configuration data for the first unit, all you'd have to do is change the DeviceNet address to an unused number and configure it the same way.

So do you know what the max I/O's the compact controller can handle?
Thanks,

The DeviceNet manual says maximum of 20 I/O devices can be connected to the same controller.0
