Do I need Cam software?
in RobotStudio
The boss is about to buy an ABB IRB 2400 with turntable for surface milling.
All 3D models shall be supplied by our clients in 3DM, OBJ, IGES or STL formats.
I myself will not be required to generate 3D models.
Will Robotstudio be enough to generate my pathways, tool changes etc', without having to purchase 3rd party software.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The only limitation is our imagination.

Hi,Probably will it be enough with RobotStudio and a CAD converter for IGES or STL (preferably STL). The RobotStudio Machining PowerPac maybe also will be useful, depending on how your milling path should look like.Best regards,
