magnifier with red exclamation!

I have a what looks like a magnifiing glass with a red exclamation mark over my work object and target icons in the layout tree, why is this?? I cant find it in the help at all!

    Hi Ben,

    This means that the affected items are set to 'invisible', so should not be displayed in the graphics pane. Right-click on one of these icons and select 'visible' then click in the graphics pane to restore visibility.
