External Axis setup

I am a RS rookie and am trying to create a controller for a 6400R with 3 external axis. When going step by step through the training manual I keep getting hung up because it seems like the only Key.id that came with RS is for an IRB140. Where can I get some help with this?

    What kind of external axis is it you are trying to set up?
    Which version of RobotStudio do you have?
