hello everybody. ? have a problem about ABB S5 robot. DSQC604 power supply is not working.DSQC604 is 24 and 5 V DC power supply. ? can find some power supply un?Yts for 24 and 5 Volts. But there is USB port on DSQC604. So when connect new parts robot is not working. I think robot is allways check DSQC604 with usb port.
How can ? simulate this?
is there a way for do this?
Thanks a lot for answers

You should not replace the DSQC604 with something else. The USB-communication is needed between DSQC604 and Computer unit to handle e.g. the shutdown. When mains voltage disappear (Mains voltage interruption or Mains switch turned off):-After 20ms PS activates voltage from Ultracap and "tells" MC to make a shut down and save image file.-When MC has finished the savings it confirms to PS that it is OK to turn off voltage from Ultracap. If this procedure doesn't work the robot looses the counters and it will also not be possible to make a "regain to path" at a voltage drop when running a program...There is no simulation that can be recommended for this...BR//NOH1
