Simulation of digital inputs

I want to write a background program to simulate my digital inputs in my offline simulation.
What is a possible way to do this, set digital input is not accepted and also not digital input := 1.

How can I overwrite my digital inputs.

    Hi Simotion,

    Configure a digital output and set its access level to "All". Then cross connect this output to your digital input. Your input access level must also set to "All". By this way you can set your digital output in your background program and manipulate an input.
