Next month we will receive a new ABB robot.
When it comes out of the package, do I need to do something more then updating the revolution counters?
Do i have to do something about the operating system, or can I download immediately my prepared program?
Or put it the other way, what steps to take when receiving a new robot from ABB?

Hi Simotion
Yes, actually....after power ON and check the Calibration (Revolution Counter) you will be ready to download the Program.
If the program you mean is Module (file.mod), you just Load Module.
But, for safety reason (prevent when System Failure), better if you Load Module on a new System. Create New System by using System Builder on Robot Studio Onlne.
If there is something wrong with the system, you still have another system on controller.
It's only suggestion
