Hi all!
Im wondering if anyone tryed to import 3D files from SketchUp pro to robotstudio. I looked in the knowledge center for sketchup and the program support 3ds files export, but i would like to be sure it works before i buy the program.
Or if anyone have a good tip of a cheap 3D program to draw stuff for import in RS.
Thank you in advance

I have not tried to import anything from Sketchup myself.
There seems to be an 8 hour trial of Sketchup Pro, so you should be able to try it out before you buy it.

Ok thanks, I missed the trial info i would try that.
I found another program DesignSpark 3D-cad(free ware). I downloaded the program and exported some 3D parts to .stl files and imported the files in robotstudio, and it worked
.But maybe SketchUp Pro is better to draw 3 models in, other than a freeware program, i would try this out.
