SDK problems after using Robot Studio [WebWare SDK]

Hi,

 

I'm using Webware SDK (v4.6 revision 0032). It's been working fine, but after using Robot Studio (v3.2, build 2342) when Visual Basic boots up OK, but when I try to view a form with an SDK control on it, the message appears "Visual Basic has encountered a problem and needs to close" etc.

 

In order to get the Robot Studio working I had to carry out the command "interlink -unregserver" followed by "interlink -regserver". If this has interfered with the SDK, is there a way to recover?

    RobotStudio use interlink for communcation against the virtual controller and if Interlink is registred as a service RS won't work (when you try to start a controller you will see the Starting Controller dialog forever). That's why you have to do the -unregserver (unreg the service) and then the -regserver to register as a standalone server.

    If you install WW SDK before RS the installation will by default register Interlink as a service (-service).
