U can use AliasIO to connect to a signal specified by a string. From the ABB "RAPID instructions, functions and data types" manual<br>VAR signaldi alias_di;<br>PROC prog_start()<br>CONST string config_string := "config_di";<br>AliasIO config_string, alias_di;ENDPROC<br>You could change the example to using a signaldo and using the normal I/O operations to set the output.
