Attach object to pick and deliver mechanism

HI, i have one mechanism that picks a part in a pallet from the conveyor, rotates up and delivers that part so the robot can pick it. I have everything working correctly with SCs but i can't make the mechanism to attach the part.It seems a very simple thing to do but i'm unable to do it. I even tried to make the mechanism as a tool but when i try to select that tool in the robot, that tool is not available.what i want is to attach an object with a peripheral mechanism not the robot, but controlled by robot signals.Thank You in advance.
