Can I tell RS to ignore modules in the HOME folder?

Hi, I'm working on a system that has a lot of (large) modules in the HOME folder, and whenever I open the relation page to transfer items either way, I have to wait for a couple minutes before I can do anything. I know it is going though all of the modules in the HOME folder, and that is why it is taking so long to get ready. Is there a way I can disable the background loading/comparing when I open the relation? I have it unchecked in the transfer, but it still seems like all those modules are what is slowing it down. I am never transfering between the HOME folders, only actively loaded modules in the Robot Task.
