Tapping Power
I need to connect some accessories to a robot cell we are building. This is using an IRB 4400, and the controller has the world transformer installed. These accesories use 120VAC power (Wall Power). The front of the controller has a plug but is under powered for the computer and tracker that it needs to power. With the world transformer, there is a 200 V tap, This 200V Line to Line is 120 V Line to Nuetral. Am I able to pull off of this tap to power my external items? The robot is powered by 480V, So i am not pulling directly off of the input power, but rather pulling additional power through the transformer. Does any one have knowledge on if ABB supports this at all, or if it voids the warrenty.

Just for everyone who comes across this, it does function, but still no word on if it is officially supported.0
