Backup-process takes very long

The time for making a backup from my controller with RSO has increased over the time signicantly- up to 5 minutes.
Does anybody know why and what to do?

    Hallo, indeed I found some big files in HOME. I had to clean some log-files and erase folders where old modules are in from production work, which are not properly deleted by my program.
    Astonishing the memory utilisation was still below 40%.

    Good question Denis.  There could be loads of old backups in there.
