Å, Ä and Ö are replaced by "?" in Rapid editor
Hi
I have a specific PC where "Å", "Ä" and "Ö" are replaced by "?".
I earlier RS version this was a problem when opening files from HOME-catalog, but this time it's a module I open in the rapid memory.
Any swedes here who have seen this?
This is only on one of my PC's. Windows Region and language is set to Sweden.
ABB robot support could not help me, case closed.

I have had the same issue when importing a module with wrong encoding.
I had to save the module to my pc, re-save it with a new encoding in vscode or notepad++ then load it to the controller again.
Do you have the same issue if you create a new module with robotstudio in the controller?
In that case i don't think this fix will work.Systemintegrator - Web / C# / Rapid / Robotstudio

As you say, usually it's an issue where you can re-save the module with encodein "ANSI" in e.g. notepad.
But this time I'm connected to the real robot and open a "live" module in the Rapid memory.
However, I found the solution now:
In Windows:
Control Panel -> Region -> Tab "Administrative" -> Change System locale -> Uncheck the box "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support"
