how to expand the working range of axis 1

Dear sir:

    I want to expand the working range of axis 1 of IRB6600 from ?A180 to ?A220 degree in RS , for our real IRB6600 robot has this option. but I can't chose the option when config the virtual system in RS. how to realize?

    Hi,

    You have to create a new virtual system with help of the "System Builder" (in the Controller menu) in RS. There can you select IRB6600 with extended working range on axis 1. The robot model in RS will adapt to the working range in the system (220 deg).

    I have done as you told me.

    1,built a system with extended axis1 work range.

    2, use 'add system' to add this system to RS

    but the work range of the robot is still 180degree.

    Then I suggest that you install the latest RS version (5.09 SP2).

    If I remember correct was the "adapt feature" added in RS 5.09.
