RS 2008 Load Program

Hi,

It appears that RS 2008 will not load an S4c style program.  The dialog boxes open, and i can select a prg file, but the program does not load.  Is this a known issue?

    Hi Pat,

    Thank you for bringing this limitation to our attention. This is definitely a bug that we will fix in the 5.11 release. As a workaround, you can load the program from the Virtual FlexPendant.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the quick response.  I don't think I was clear enough in first post.  It's the online part of RS2008 that won't load the S4 prg.  Therefore, I have reverted back to RS Online.  Pity, because RS2008 looked pretty good so far.

    OK, so the suggested workaround is not really applicable for you then. But, once the program is loaded it should be possible to use RS 2008 again for program modification.

    I am glad to hear that you appreciate the new look and feel of RS/RSO.
