Conveyors and position sensors
in RobotStudio
Hello everyone, In the beggining I would like to apologize for many qestions that I am going to ask you, because these are my firts steps in robotstudio, I need it for my university project.
I've got a problem with robotstudio 6.03, I need to design a station wich automatically sorts different components. Components have diffrent shapes and dimensions (I have 3 types of components going into the station on conveyor in diffrent orientations). The problem is how to create working like real conveyor belt, I trid to do that by creating smart component, I tried to create conveyor, I have tried to import conveyor from picking power pac, but none of those suits my needs or I just don't know how to use that stuff...
At the moment I can build conveyor by smart component, it works just fine, but there is a big problem with stoping the conveyor, if component goes into end of conveyor, the conveoyor stops, but if I'd move part the part is moved by conveyor....
I would be really happy if you could give me some advice.
If you know some tutorials wich can help me plz share

You could try my SmartComponent that i created https://forums.robotstudio.com/discussion/9829/smartcomponent-simulating-conveyors#latest
lt will not stop as parts reach the end and you can change geometry during simulation. I have never tried to pick the items so would be glad to hear if you succeed with that if you decide to try my component.
