Divide windows (both RAPID code and graphic environment)

Hello,

How can I divide the screen so I can see both the robot in the graphic environment and the RAPID code?
If I have the RAPID code tab open and start the program, RobotStudio jumps to the RAPID Editor so I can't the the movements of the robot.
It's very frustrating when I have many modules open because I have to close them all, run the simulation and then open RAPID Editor again and open each one again.
I know this is a stupid question but someone, please, help.

Thanks

  • Right mouse click on the tab-header (in my case "View1") and then press "New Vertical Tab Group". This will divide your screen in two parts, if you want to have it horizontal you have to press on "New Horizontal Tab Group".

  • Thanks much, I figured it out in the mean time.
  • In the next version (6.05) it will also be possible to float any window to make better use of multiple monitors. (This will replace the "full screen" feature.)

  • Hello,
Will it be possible to open 2 windows with same file?
So you can read (compare)  two procedures written in the same module.
  • It is already possible to split the RAPID editor like this:

  • I don't think so.
