RobotStudio event

Adding 3D Data into Robotstudio

Hi,

I am currently on a project, where I have a 3D Kamera (ASUS Xtion) mounted to the Endeffector of an ABB Robot (IRB 7600). The camera captures a pointclouds of the environment and provides them as an an .wrl file, which I can manually insert into Robotstudio as an Geometry.

My question now is: Is it possible to write a code in Rapid, which will automatically look for new .wrl files and adds them in the environment as the Robot moves?

I am quiet new to RS so I don't know whether I should use Rapid or the PC SDK for it.
