External Axis problem
in RobotStudio
We are new to robot studio and are having some problems with our external axis. We have created a three axis positioner for our application that works great as a mechanism on it's own. When we create our system and then use the external axis wizard to add the positioner, it jogs it's axis differently.
Our positioner is suppose to work like this. Part 2,3 and 4 rotate around the z axis of part 1. Part 3 and 4 are suppose to rotate separately on the x axis of part 2. The problem is that part 4 will rotate on its own but when part 3 rotates so does part 4. this only happens after making the system through the external axis wizard. Please see attached picture.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I just attempted to re-create this situation in a sim and ran into the same issue. I'll let you know if I figure anything out!0
