Electronic Gage with SPC to Robot Com2
Has anyone tried ths? We would like to connect an electronic gage with
SPC and RS232 to the controller's Com2 to read the value on the
micrometer and store the data in a file. We have connected the gage to
the port, identified all the gages properties (parity, bits, etc), written
"Open" and "Read" code in the program but when we attempt to read the
gage when the "send" button is pressed, the program sits in a wait mode
as if no data was sent. Yet the light flashes on the gage indicating that
some transaction has occurred.
Thanks!
