Auto acknowledge input

Hi

Can anyone explain the Auto acknowledge input option that is find under Engineering Tool in Installation Manager.

I did check the box while I was creating a new system but I can´t find out what changes it makes to the system.

    It's an option which allows the normally manual process of acknowledging that the system was switched into Auto on the pendant to be preformed by a signal. Example of use: The signal could be used by a safety-rated PLC to acknowledge Auto mode via logic over requiring a human to push the acknowledge on the pendant.
