Welding Cylinders without using ArcC

Hi,
I am new to programming in RAPID and due to our robot positioner setup it is extremely difficult for our robot to reach the back of our parts. I am looking for how to program the robot to remain stationary while welding and the positioner rotates. Any help would be much appreciated
