Robot Communication Runtime 6.06.01 SP1 is available for download

Robot Communication Runtime 6.06.01 SP1 (RCR) is available for download from the download page http://new.abb.com/products/robotics/robotstudio/downloads.

RCR is available in the package RobotWare Tools and Utilities 6.06.01 SP1 in the Miscellaneous-section of the download page.

The SP1 fixes the issue caused by the latest security update for Windows 10, see https://forums.robotstudio.com/discussion/10662/security-update-for-windows-10-causes-problems-for-pc-sdk-applications-and-opc-server#latest.

Since the problem lies in the communication layer, installing RCR on an affected PC that runs a PC-SDK application or OPC Server will resolve the problem.

A new version of PC-SDK and OPC Server that includes the RCR referenced above and related merge modules is underway and will be published on ABB Robotics Developer Center shortly (http://developercenter.robotstudio.com).

Hello!
We want to implement PC SDK client, but on linux-realtime system.
Is there a PC SDK version for linux? Or is it possible to get description of communication protocol between PC SDK and robot controller? Or is it a closed private info?
