Hi I'm new to the forum.
Looking to use a arc welding gantry style system with 4 external axis XYZ and slave X gantry.
From what I have been told I need an additional cabinet for the fourth axis drive module. Can anyone confirm this?
Considering it's an arc welding system I also want to confirm that I can use Weldguide through arc seam tracking (TAST) while operating the external axis simultaneously. The application will not function if the gantry is required to stop/start at multiple points and weld only to the arms limits. I have been told Yaskawa's controller can operate TAST by adjusting positions using only external axis and not the arm itself. Does the RobotWare Arc or Weldguide have these options?.
Does anyone have a link to the Weldguide IV operators manual?
