Can the IRC5 Event Log messages be displayed in the alarm banner of FactoryTalk View SE

I have a project which requires displaying the event log messages on a FactoryTalk View SE HMI display so that there is no need to plug in the FlexPendant. Has anyone done this before? I was hoping maybe connecting the IRC5 OPC to the FactoryTalk Alarms and Event banner. I am new to ABB and would appreciate any ideas or suggestions.
