Unknown error: create path, set position

Options
I was using robot studio for training and moved the object, element and Output windows onto my second monitor. I then found that almost everything that i tried to do resulted in a 'Unknown error". Not thinking that this was the reason for the errors i spent a couple of hours trying to find out the reason for the errors..couple of hours that i will never get back.. When i returned the windows back to the default positions the errors stopped.. relief. I hope this post helps others that may run into this issue.

I am, however shocked that a software package of this capability has this type of bug. It would be great to have this fixed before the next release.

    Hi
I don't have this kind of problem on my PC.
I have a portable PC with an external monitor connected where I'm running the external monitor as the primary screen and the built in monitor as extended.

    Hi Cole,

I have the same PC setup as Per Svensson and I can't either reproduce your problem.

To help us solve this problen before the next release I would appreciate if you could send me an e-mail with the following data:

The description of the "Unknown error". When an Unknown error appear, double click on the message in the output window, you should then see a window with a description of the error, copy that description into the e-mail.

A hardware report from the "RobotStudio Support Tool". You will find this program at the same place as RobotStudio (Start - All Programs - ABB industrial IT - RoboticsIT - RobotStudio). To save a hardware report, go to the Hardware tab, click on "Perform Scan", and then "Save Report". Attach the report (a zip-file) to the e-mail.

A software report from the "RobotStudio Support Tool". Do the same as above, but in the Software tab.

    My e-mail is anders.spaak@se.abb.com

    Best regards,
