Is possible to send name of CAD`s parent to VC?

Hi,

could someone help me with sending name of CAD`s parent to VC, please? I suppose I should use RapidVariable to send string to the VC. But how could I get string from Station??? I use sensor for detecting a part and GetParent for detecting parent`s name. But parent`s name is not a string data type and there is no way how to connect this data to RapidVariable value (string data type)...
