Send name of CAD`s parent to VC

Hi, could someone help me with sending name of CAD`s parent to VC, please? I suppose I should use RapidVariable to send string to the VC. But how could I get string from this ??? I use sensor for detecting a part and GetParent for detecting parent`s name. But parent`s name is not a string and there is no way how to connect this data to RapidVariable value...
