Working with HTC VIVE in RobotStudio

Hello!

I need (a lot of) help to connect an ABB robot (IRB 2600) to VR, in order to control the robot using HTC VIVE (something like the task you can see in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16xArRG3ZuI).

As I'm a really newbie programmer (I have literally 6-8 months of experience and none of them related to robotics; just making videogames in Unity), I don't really know where to start from. At the moment I only came up with making an Add-In for RobotStudio in order to control the Robot with the VIVE controller (I don't really know if this is actually viable or just a dumb idea) but as I came from Unity I'm completely lost as the API is completely different.

One thing that a really want to know is that if I could use Unity instead of RobotStudio, in order to do the job.

So... Would you kindly give me a helping hand?.
