I have a cylindrical object that is part of a much larger assembly and when imported into robot studio the origin is way off. Is there a way to change/move the origin of the part to the centerline of the part so that it can then be snapped the part onto a positioner?

Change origin of the part: Right-click on the part in the Layout list, choose Modify then Set Local Origin. See if you can select the center line of the part with Snap Center tool.
