Virtual Controller Rebooting Error

I am having a issue with the virtual controller restarting when I Apply All on changes that I have made in my program.  This is what happens in the log file:

C0040403 : No response from controller. SetTextRange Timeout    6/7/2018 9:27:56 AM    Controllers   
No connection with controller.                                                           6/7/2018 9:27:56 AM    Controllers   
Failed to apply changes.                                                                  6/7/2018 9:27:56 AM    Controllers   

The VC will reboot and if I try again it will sometimes save, sometimes it will reboot again.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
