Joint load too high when running load identify

Hey,
I'm trying to do a load identify of a work piece we are moving with our 1200 robot. The robot has 700mm of reach and 7kg of max load, the tool weighs 2.9kg and the load weighs around 2.8, which (with some quick maths) is inside the allowed 7kg.
When running the loadidentify procedure I get error "50055: Joint load too high", even though I've tried to use both the parameters "known mass in load" and "unknown mass in tool".
I'm grateful for any help!

Edit:
Turns out having a tool with the TCP 230mm from the flange means 1-2kg of mass load...
