weld target point configuration

I am currently programming a part in robot studio 6.06 using arcwelding powerpac 6.06.

After selecting the weld path and gun angle i want. I test the parth and get a can't move error.  So then i right click and go to set configuration, change the configuration and it works with no error.  Then after a few minutes(not even doing anything in robot studio) i go and try to test the program and i get the can't move error again  When i check the configuration of the target, it has gone back to the original one.

This has happened a few times in the past but on this part it happens continuously.  Do you have any idea why this would happen or how to fix it?
