Problem With Robot Studio

I am currently having problems with robot studio, besides the fact it crashes without me saving my workimage, I am having a continuous problem when I try and open a file with it. It tries to connect to the virtual controller and waits for a long time and then throws an error at me saying "There was a problem starting the virtual controller" I press ok, then open my file once more and it works the second time. This is extremely frustrating and time consuming. I am a newbie to robot studio but I beleive I am learning quickly. Has anyone else had this problem then found a solution to it, if so please share it would be extremely helpful.

    If you have a  computer with dual core that could be the problem.

    Thanks a lot, that is good to know, I am a new guy so I did get the laptop with the dual core processor which would explain why the other two guys didn't have the same problem with their laptops, my company is getting Robot Studio 5.08image so hopefully that will solve this annoyance.
