Hi,

I have started with the programming on our old abb weldrobot.

In arcweld powerpac it says that every robtarget should be saved as a "P" number. but when i look at the program in rapid the p number isnt there.

On the second image you can see what i mean.

i have added "LOCAL CONST robtarget p1:=[[474.515579345,-460.1177625,-1200.270870982],[0.638427646,-0.639925576,0.300698508,-0.304114789],[0,0,0,0],[4268,9E+09,0,9E+09,9E+09,9E+09]];" manualy and also edited the first movej to collect the p1 target instead of plain text.

In my newer robot system this is created automaticly. So the question is if i have missed some settings? or is it becaus i use an older robotware version V.5xx

Is this an existing program you are modifying?

The robtargets in the above are inline (they are not named Robtargets), in RobotStudio  when you synchronize from the station you can decide if they are created in the RAPID as inline or named.

If you sync to the station, then sync back and deselect inline named Robtargets will be created.

Make sure you have a copy of your RAPID code (taking a backup of the virtual controller is the easiest way) before doing this in case things go wrong.

Hi,

Im in the middle of the programming. When i press synch to rapid in arcweld i dont get that window and when i use sync to station i dont get the inline boxes

worked, i had to sync it then close down arcweld powerpac and resync with the addon closed
