Limited number of PC SDK connections

Using the PC SDK, Is there a limit to the number of connections to controllers from a single PC. It would appear that within the ABB Communication Server, it starts to fail around 500 different robot connections. This can be seen from the PC SDK and from the Robot Studio. If so, any solution as we have more than 500+ robots
