Finding loading on each major axis?

in RobotStudio
Hello,
I am a first time user working on a simple pick and place operation for one of my classes. We are supposed to use run a simulation for our motion path and display "the trace output indicating the load that each axis motor of the robot is placed under". I was not sure how to enable this in the simulation's signal setup, so I just enabled the physics tab for all 6 of the joints. When I ran the simulation I had no readings for the analog signals but my virtual digital values were appearing (see image below). I also noticed on my controller's system I/O configuration all signals were grayed out except for the virtual I/O's I added myself (see image below). I am using a virtual controller and robot.
Is there something I haven't linked correctly or am I just going about the simulation the wrong way? What is the proper way to output the load data for each axis?
