There's a variable in the weld data parameters identified as 'Control'. it is set to zero and we've developed many a welds with it there. My coworker has informed me that only at my facility, only these machines have the control value at zero but he also doesn't know what it means/is. what is this variable? what does it control? I've been digging through manuals and documentation all morning and the best i can find is 'analog tuning value sent to certain welders' which doesn't help me. is anyone familiar with this control variable?

I am not familiar with that but if you provide some more details like the system options you have, like Arcitec, and what welder you are interfaced to then maybe we can better help you.Lee Justice0

IRB 4600, Miller Auto-Axcess E 450 Digital, we're using an Arcwelding Power Pac and Weldguide III. Wolf Robotics and DanRob Robotics have both been in here as integrators before my time, if that helps any.0
