View zone when move through the path

Hi,

I'm learning RS and, in order to do this, I'm watching youtube videos.

I'm using v6.08 and videos are made with older versions.
When I create a path, zone is shown when I clic Move throung the path. But in some videos with v5.X the zone is not shown.
I've read is this forum old questions about that and how someone invited to use the Monitor to see the zone.

Has it changed from v5.X to 6.08?
Can I set that aspect to see or not the zone?
