RS crashes when starting opening station

Hello,
I have installed RS5.08 on a new computer and seems to install correctly. However, when i go to open any station which includes the Demo stations, the system loads in the elements browser, the controller connection widow appears, then when it goes to display the cell, robot studio closes/crashes without warning.

Is there anywhere that i can get a log of what is happening?
Does anyone have any recommendations?

    Hi Cole,

    This could be a graphics related problem. Make sure you have installed the latest driver for your graphics card. Also, try to switch renderer (Tools -> Options -> Renderer).

    Yes it was a graphics related problem, i changed the rendering from OpenGL to Direct3D and it is now working.
