I want to use multiple IR sensors, connect them to an Arduino and then use the Arduino as a DeviceNet to connect it to IRC5. I don't know if this is correct or not. If someone knows any other approach I will be really grateful for their help. Thank you so much

    I guess you have to elaborate your question. What is it that you want to know whether it is correct or not?
    There are multiple ways to communicate with industrial equipment DeviceNet is one of them and it is far from the newest or most high perfomance protocol out there. 
    Also using Arduino wouldn't be recommended/ (allowed) at all in an industrial production setting. But I guess this is some school project or similar. Then as long as the setup fulfills your needs I would regard it as correct.
