Has anyone used WebWare with NI's LabView? Are there examples on reading and writing to physical inputs and variables?

    Hello, can anybody help me with my problem? I have Labview v 6.0 and ABB IRC5 OPC Server. I need to read variables from IRC 5 to Labview but it doesn't run. I see my variables in OPC Server but the value of variables doesn't change. Where is the problem? I used other OPC client to solve my problem but result is the same. Item quality is still bad.

    What Robotware version and IRC5 OPC Server version are you using? You should use the same version of both.

    Please check the basic working of OPC server. I attached a programm there you can check very fass the connection to OPC Server. Main errors are:

    • Missing PC interface on the controller
    • Different Versions on robotcontroller and PC
    • Firewall settings
    • DCOM setting (will be done right if enabled during installation)

    Thank you gays, I solved my problem last week. I restarted controler with X-Start, changed IP adress than returned it back and it goes. But now is another problem. The update rate is 1000 ms and I can not set it lower.
