Can EGM be used to achieve equivalent high speed of MoveL / MoveJ commands?
Use case: we would like to do trajectory optimization and then have the robot execute the planned trajectory, tracking it as close as possible. It is important that the robot can move at high speed, close to the maximum speed allowed by MoveL / MoveJ commands. We would like to use EGM since it gives us the option of controlling the robot at higher frequency than MoveL / MoveJ but we weren't sure whether it can achieve high speed.
We have seen some existing demo videos using EGM but they all run at relatively slow speed.
