Hello all, I’m in need of some help. I keep running into an issue that I can’t seem to find the answer to. I keep getting a no contact with I/O device fault. The kicker is, it is only happening on a few of the 7th axis robots here (it has happened on every 7th axis robot we have, just some more frequently) and also it seems to only happen after a weekend and we are starting back up. We have looked at cabinet devices, profinet cables, ground, looked at network traffic, everything!! I’ve looked at all options and I’m not sure what else to look for?!

Make sure all the addresses are unique and are not being referenced by multiple I/O units. Also, if you change the address, make sure you cycle the power on the power supply to the I/O unit afterwards.0
