IRC5 and VB.Net programming
Hello,
We have recently received our first IRC5 controller and I'm trying to discover the capabilities that I can take advantage of.
I have been given to understand that I can use VB.Net to program applications for the IRC5. Is there any documentation concerning this that I can read up on?
Can I use DotNet to write applications that run on the controller or Teach pendant itself, or are these simply applications that run on the PC and extract data from the controller?
I'm hoping for apps that run on the controller. I would like to be able to write interfaces such as production manager that suit our business needs a little better.

The product you are referring to is ABB Robot Application Builder, which includes SDKs targeting both FlexPendant and PC using MS Visual Studio 2005 as the deveopment tool
You can search the ABB web site for more information, also see the dicsussion area Operator Interface:Robot Application Builder elsewhere in this forum.
