Parts created by addin not visible in a station viewer

I have a addin that generates boxes as parts as well as 3 frames then i put them into a component group. The frames are visible in the station viewer but the boxes aren't. Is there anything i need to do on creation of these parts to make them visible to the station viewer and/or recorders?
