Hi everyone,
I hope you are doing well
I am working on a project where I will use a camera to locate objects and send their coordinates to the robot controller
( object (150 mm x 50 mm metal shiny), the working distance (between 1m and 1.5m),  FOV(400 mm x 340 mm))
The camera must be (CMOS, mono, between (2MP and 5MP), ethernet interface)
I know the ABB robot came with its own solution (Cognex camera).
but I want to use another camera without an intermediary card, pc, or plc. means direct communication between the camera and the robot controller.
I found many camera type and solution but I need someone who already has an idea about that to advise me

    Are you proficient enough in the Rapid language to be able to write all the code to interface with the camera and to manage the data coming back from it?  What is the communication protocol/interface?
