Interlink to virtual controller [WebWare Server]
Hi
I have been using Robot Studio 3.2 for some time and linking in an HMI application using the Webware SDK and Interlink.
I've now upgraded to Robot Studio 5.08 and Interlink will not connect.
Should I be able to get it to connect? Do I need to upgrade anything to do with Interlink? I installed everything there was on the RS DVD (Robotware, Robot Studio, Robot Studio Online).
Any thought would be appreciated!

Hi
When you communicating to a S4C controller you are using RAP and on a IRC5 controller there is a RobAPI so first you need a WebWare SDK version that supports IRC5.
If you do have a supported SDK version there is one toolbar button for adding S4C controllers and one for IRC5.
For IRC5 there is a network scanner which scans for controllers on the network. Did the scanner reported any controllers?Per Svensson

Hi Per, thanks for your reply.
I'm using Interlink and Webware SDK versions 4.60.0032, which has IRC5 support.
The scanner reports a robot with address C:/RobotStations ... which is where the files are held: I was expecting to specify an IP address which I had done with earlier versions.
However, Interlink Monitor is still showing "Connecting", not "Running"
